Yes, TOPS organized a ‘Garba’ event and provided an opportunity to celebrate the dance festival-Navratri-with a dedicated music line-up and on-ground activities. The event itself was enough to refresh the mind and enlighten the soul of the participants. Let’s have a glance to it….
A delightful Sharad Punam full moon Night, pleasant weather, shining starts, colorful lights, rocking music, staff and students-all dressed in traditional cloths, nonstop dance and last but not the least yummy ‘Dudh Paua’ like a cherry on the top was the perfect combination for the celebration!!!
Friends and family members of students, Trainers and counselors of all 3 of the centers of Ahmadabad city-CG Road, Ankur and Maninagar- and all staff from Shivranjani, in all almost 300 people cordially celebrated this festival on 27th of October, at the ground of Dhananjay Bungalows, Ahmedabad. The event started around 9:00pm with the ‘Aarti’ of the Goddess Shakti and continued for 3 hrs with the energetic notes of traditional songs. Some refreshments were also available for adding up the energy. People also enjoyed eating the traditional dish of Sharad Punam-Dudh Paua- at the end of the event. One student Krishna Patel was given the prize for the best dressing and performance of Garba Dance.
It was an evening proved to be refreshing and joyful for all.
